This is one of the public health strategies in health and wellbeing level and it involves considering the sustainability of health information and advice to reduce that impacts on health and well-being (e.g. education, job creation and social policy advice etc).
We have community health promotional champions available in the community for training and development.
Zion Extra is making sure sustainable health education awareness is reaching the grassroots and making a good impact on a people-centred approach. This includes sharing flyers, monthly health promotion campaign and working with both local and international policy orientation.
We also partner with OFC Training College in the UK to increase educational tools and financial sustainability.
All our health promotional lead are well trained and with health and social care education level to a higher grade. With their voluntary time and support and we are sure our community are safe and meeting our aims and objectives of training target.
Zion Extra hosted an event to promote equality and racism awareness in Brighton and Hove, UK.
Attendance were members of the health and social care professionals and some NHS Senior team in the UK.
Zion Extra took the lead during COVID-19, promoting food bank and positive impact in Edo-State community. Both community leaders and women empowerment group took to the street and working together to give food to those in needs and the less privileged.
Zion Extra is also promoting an online educational event, talk show and innovation awareness. This is to promote growth and development of the group, individual and making a good impact in their environment.
